The couple were married Wednesday before 60 guests at the Grande Colonial Hotel in the La Jolla area of San Diego, publicist Lesley Burbridge-Bates told The Associated Press. The bride wore a Vera Wang Couture dress.

Two days later, he suffered the consequences. 

NASCAR fined Gordon $10,000 and placed him on probation for his involvement in an altercation on pit road shortly after the completion of Sunday's Nextel Cup Food City 500. 

A four-time series champion, Gordon will be on probation until August 30.

Darrow, crew chief for Tony Raines' Nextel Cup car, was tested for banned substances last Saturday at Talladega Superspeedway. The results were positive, leading to an automatic suspension.
