Crew Chief Picks Daytona 500 Winner, Top Three

Our resident motorsports guru correctly predicted Jeff Gordon at the winner of the today's Daytona 500. In fact, her top three picks all finished in the top 3. From her earlier post you may recall that she has Jr. second and Kurt Busch third. While they finished in the reverse order, it still was some great work by the Chief.

As for the rest of her picks:

• 4th place pick, Tony Stewart, finished 7th while her 5th, 6th and 7th place choices Kasey Kahne, Ryan Newman, and Jeremy Mayfield, finished bunched together at 22nd, 20th, and 23 respectively.
• 8th, 9th, and 10th place picks Bobby Labonte, Kyle Busch, and Martin Truex Jr. finished 43rd, 38th, and 34th respectively with Labonte out after 14 laps with mechanical problems, Busch only completing 148 laps, and Truex being involved in an accident after 178 laps.
  

Good job Crew Chief, looks like Mister2 and I owe you that first pint of ice cream.
