With only six days remaining until the Daytona 500 we take a look at the Yahoo Fantasy Auto Racing game. This game runs for the entire Nextel Cup season. You can sign up for this game by clicking on the following link:

Prizes: None.

Leagues: Create a Private League or join a "Fans of" Public League.

Rules: Drivers are broken into 3 categories A, B, and C. You select 2 "A" drivers, 4 "B" drivers, and 2 "C" drivers. For any given week, you pick 1of your 2 "A" drivers, 2 of your 4 "B" drivers, and 1 of your 2 "C" drivers. No Driver may start for you more than 9 times during the entire season.

Scoring: 90 Points to the race winner, 88 for 2dn, 86 for 3rd and so on. Bonus points for the top 4 qualifiers (10 for 1st, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd and 1 for 4th). 10 additional bonus points are awarded for leading at least 1 lap with 10 more for the driver who leads the most laps.

Note: The season is broken into two halves (Daytona 500 - Tropicana 400 and New England 300 - Ford 400) but this seems more a technicality than anything else as there are no half season winners.
