13 days until the Nextel Cup opens with the Daytona 500 and StatLeader will be here for your Fantasy Auto Racing enjoyment from now through the last finisher at the Ford 400 in November.

Let's start out with a little pre-race fun.

Daytona International Speedway is planning a major celebration featuring major musical entertainers as well as thousands of local residents. The pre-race events will be televised on Fox.

Ashton Kutcher ("That 70's Show", "Cheaper By The Dozen", "My Boss' Daughter" and "Dude, Where's My Car?") will be the honorary starter this year. Kutcher, also plays a young man who tries to win over his perspective father-in-law by pretending to be a former NASCAR driver in the new movie "Guess Who" scheduled for release in late March. By the way, Kutcher is a big NASCAR fan.
